The aim of this website is to be an on-line resource for collecting GB stamps.
The website is still in development - you can see its progress by coming back every now and then.

Things still to do (September 2008):

• Data Entry - Never ending task, but now have over 4500 items and 17,000 issues now (September 2008).
• Content - Database data is a bit dry, need some opinion and background text - markup test
• Images - Using my own images as far as possible although contributors are welcome. (see 1973)
  
• Themes - Add theme keywords to sets and stamps to aid searching - see Themes Page
• Series - Add series display - see Themes and Series Page
• Search - Search engine enhanced with more keywords and flexible entry (April 2007)
• Definitives and Machins - I do intend to add better machin support to the site. I know the destination - just figuring out the best way to get there (March 2007).
• Links - Provide more information and links for sets and stamps (Wikipedia etc) - see page for 1990
• Update Wikipedia list of GB Postage Stamps at Wikipedia GB Postage Stamps (ongoing)
• Album Pages - Initial trials to generate printable album pages (April 2007) - see British Ships, Royal Mail and Crimean War PDFs. Also see an example of how a year might look - 1982. Still a long way to go on this. (April 2007)

Site News

October 27 2008 : Started to remove all reference to Stanley Gibbons numbering system from the sites at the request of Stanley Gibbons.
October 19 2008 : Added Women of Distinction issue.
September 22 2008 : Added several gorgeous First Day Covers for Germany 1986
September 21 2008 : Added Australia 1970 FDC's and South Africa FDC's
September 6 2008 : Changes to the World site to make country selection work now.
August 25 2008 : Corrected a number of 403 Forbidden errors when clicking on images.
August 25 2008 : Added previews for this years issues and added preliminary programme for next year
August 24 2008 : Started site makeover and move towards rewrite with new features.
March 24 2008 : Adding support for world issues with over 14,400 loaded so far. Country lists available soon.
March 3 2008 : Still here - recently updated with Lancaster GB stamps. Adding more world countries.
January 6 2008 : Added previews for Insects and Cathedral issues. Continue to support for different countries.
